In our trip to the rafting of the Cucaracho River we met the Chu, he is all into diving and operates El Refugio Nacazcol EcoTours who provided us with the respective training to obtain the Open Water license.

We arrived Friday night at Villas Nacazcol, to review Padi's book, and in the next morning, we found ourselves in the pool with Frenchie the diving instructor. There we finished learning what we lacked in a practical way and we dived into the water. After a few exercises we had already emptied the tank, then we went to lunch.

After lunch, we were supposed to meet at the beach to get on a boat where we would go to nearby diving points of the El Coco. Then about 10 minutes by boat we arrived at the island where we put on the equipment and put into practice what we learned that morning.

The first immersion was definitely not easy, but following the steps learned and remaining calm makes it easier to dominate. When you get down to controlling the buoyancy, this becomes a mystical thing that is the closest thing to flying among the reefs, very awesome ...

Sunday came and we had two more dives in the morning. This second day we visited two more cool stops, and although we were still practicing we were able to go down to a sunken ship, see a whitetip shark, several schools of fish and super photogenic reefs that made diving even more exciting.

After the experience in this aquatic world, we were hooked, I think it became a new addition, there is no doubt that everyone should dare to discover a little more than what is visible to the eye underwater. And just when you think you have experienced great adventures, you live something like this and realize it opens up a fascinating amount of possibilities in this journey we call life.
