A few months ago they told us about a farm with a very cool and very interesting idea where they wanted to educate people about the power of structured water on people’s health. They finally opened the place and we went to see the first part of the project that we loved.

We left Santa Ana at 6:30 a.m. on the way to Arenal de Puriscal, which lasts about 2:15 p.m. and waze sent us through Puriscal, which has incredible views. We arrived at 9 after a few stops to take photos and this day was the opening event to the public of the AWA museum as they called the farm.

This farm is owned by Richard Nahas who is a doctor specializing in alternative medicine, something that attracts our attention and is the one who little by little wants to turn this place into an educational museum.

We start the walk around 9:30 and it is a short journey, but if there is one detail, much of the first part is downhill, so coming back can be a little tiring. You can go directly to the falls, which if you don’t want to walk a lot and enjoy the water would be a good option. But for those who have hiking fever, you can take an extra 2 km trail to get a little more exercise and enjoy nature. And that’s what we did. We started with this walk that first goes up a hesitant slope and then goes down, this trail has some cool views.

Then we went to visit the falls, which was our favorite part. The first waterfall is one of those waterfalls that fall hugging the stones and are good for a natural massage. So Tavo and Glori went straight to the water to take advantage of it and bathe. We stayed here for about 15 minutes because then we had to continue to the other 3 falls. You walk for about 5 more minutes and you come to a monument that was made from the water that has other waterfalls in the background and the one with a very good pool. This place is picture perfect, so we took the photo and continued to see this new waterfall up close. On the way we found another waterfall that is a continuation of the first waterfall and is very similar. Almost next to it is the other one, which is a waterfall with a classic drop and a good pool. That day the water was a bit cloudy due to the rains and with the medium strong current, so only Tavo got in to feel the water and then came out. But they say that in summer it is extremely beautiful. We took the opportunity to eat a snack and continued to the fourth and last waterfall of the place.

You walk about 3 minutes and you arrive. This one is different from the others as it is wider and has a very cool drop because you can get inside the waterfall. It was already late so only Glori decided to go in, get another natural massage with the water and apparently it was worth it, she came out like new.

With this we finished a tour of a beautiful place that you definitely have to see and take advantage of the fact that they are just beginning.
