We left San José after lunch and arrived at Guana Glamp around 5 pm along a path between beautiful farms until we entered the mountain where this very particular lodge is located.
When we arrived the owners welcomed us with a spectacular yoga class on a platform at the top of the mountain among trees and to make it even more perfect there was a beautiful sunset until the night fell.
We walked in the moonlight along the path that goes down to the common area that is very cool with a super-equipped kitchen open almost to the open air, a circular pool at the end of the deck and a smaller one for children. After dinner we went to sleep in our camping tent which was really big with a deck facing the view and a small outdoor pool.
The next day we got up early to the sounds of monkeys and birds to ride our bikes. Glori and I did a route through Playa Minas, Real, Pedregosa ending in the town of Matapalo through gravel roads between mountains.
When we returned we went to the center of Tamarindo which is about 15 minutes away and we had breakfast at a little window called "Terruño" where we ate some delicious snacks.
Around 11 o'clock we went to a beach called Lagartillo that is located between Avellanas and Playa Negra, the road is a bit 4 × 4 but we played it well. This beach is beautiful because there are not so many people and there is also good shade near the sand. We stayed here for a while until we couldn't stand our hunger, then we went back to the Guana Glamp to cook some burgers on the grill.
The next day we got up early again to bike so we went on a trail that goes inside Playa Langosta to Hacienda Pinilla and on the way back we had breakfast in the center of Tamarindo.
We arrived back and bathed to head to Playa Minas where we had lunch and vegetated for about 4 hours, then we went to Guana Glamp to pack up and return to San José happy from a weekend so full of activities.
