We arrived past 9 am at the Macho Mora farm to walk to the waterfall. After getting our things ready, we decided to start down the path, which luckily was plagued with blackberry bushes.
The weather was at first part sunny until we reached a part full of pine trees that gave us a nice shade. The road is a zigzag descent with some parts steeper than others, and the view is quite beautiful.
After an hour we managed to reach the Las Palmas waterfall viewpoint, which bears this name because right next to the stream it has 2 palms (very rare). Then we finished going down to the river and walked a little more to get closer.
The waterfall is very cool, with cold water and dew that gets you a little cold … also where the waterfalls there is a mini pool where you can walk without a problem.
After getting into the water we stayed for a while picnicking to get ready to go below and get energy for the walk back to the house where we ate a delicious meal, highly recommended!
