We left San Jose around 7am, we took special guests along, my parents and Glori’s parents. On the way we went to a minimarket to buy the snacks and we continued until we reached the entrance to the farm ...we parked here to get the stuff ready and head down.

The road to the ranches and picnic tables is a maximum 300 meters downhill between coffee plantations under the surplus of some fruit trees. Once there, we came across a pool of spring water, and a super cool slide to jump into the water.

After passing through the picnic area we continued to see the waterfalls below and their pools. The trail passes from the grassland to the forest in 2 secs generating an incredible sense of peace while you travel its short path. Below you can find several nice spots to sit at, do a picnic or just take some pics.

After being here we returned to the picnic area and continued the road to the famous waterfall El Paraíso. The way is not difficult, you just have to walk 100 meters along a path not, it’s not too steep, there is a tremendous cascade, the type that get you soaked with their dew. It’s hard to take a decent photo since the camera lens gets wet quickly, so there is nothing left to do but to enjoy the natural place.

We went back to splash in the pool and use the slide, like some regular kids, during all the fun we got exhausted and hungry. We made some snacks and spent quality time with our families that invited us to this incredible place in Grecia.
