We went to the famous and very tropical Playa Biezans in Manuel Antonio, and we also walked a secret path that connects the most paradisiacal beaches in the area.

How to get there?

You have to take the highway towards Quepos, then exit towards Manuel Antonio. When you finish going up the hill there is a small corner shopping center, there you turn left, continuing until you find the entrance.

We left on Friday afternoon for Manuel Antonio, we stayed at Hotel Shana for comfort and direct access to Biezans Beach.

The next day we woke up with an orchestra of cute birds and a beautiful view of the forest, so we went downstairs to have breakfast and get ready to go to the beach.

Access to Biezans Beach is public by a path from the street but there are also certain hotels that have their access like ours, the only thing we did was go down 500 m through some steps that lead directly to the beach.

Part of the cool thing about this area of ​​Manuel Antonio is the jungle that borders the coast with small and cozy beaches. Like always, when the beach is accessible and beautiful, it ends up being crowded with more people than necessary, which is what happened here. We stumbled upon an infestation of renting awnings with chairs that is a bit overwhelming, but still the magic of the place remains.

Here after all morning vegging out, we returned to the hotel and got ready for lunch.

From a recommendation of our followers we went to Café Agua Azul, this is in the highest part of the mountain on the main street (waze link attached). We arrived and the place was on the second floor with a breathtaking panoramic view of the coast, and the food… the food was as good as the view.

After eating we went to the hotel to rest while it started to pour.

We started it in Biezans and it is relatively easy to follow since it goes along the mountain coast, passing through many small paradisiacal beaches and beautiful viewpoints.

We walked to the beach of Tulemar, here we stayed for a while having a blast until our checkout time approached; so we packed up and walked back to the hotel.

If you plan to do this walk, don´t forget to bring suitable trail tennis shoes, a lot of hydration and food since there is nothing during the tour.

To finish up, we returned to San José along the Parrita - Puriscal Route, apparently they are going to asphalt it soon and it was a very good option in case there is alot of traffic in highway 27.
