Like every year in December we recap all the places we visited during the year and choose our favorites. It is too difficult for us to decide because each place has its magic and some may be more scenic but others have more meaning due to the experience, the people or the food.
Corcovado
National Geographic described it as the most intense place in the world, biologically speaking, in terms of biodiversity. Definitely Corcovado is a paradisiacal experience that you should experience sometime in your life.

Celestial waterfall
Once again, Bajos del Toro surprised us with the La Celestial waterfall, not only for its heavenly color … but also its beauty that seems to come out of the Garden of Eden.

Cerro Buena Vista
Leaving San Gerardo de Dota, we recommend you take a hike that goes from the Savegre River to the moor at the Cerro de la Muerte antennas … more than 1300 m of positive elevation gain, perfect for those who want a new challenge or train to climb the Chirripó.

Poza las Gradas
In the Orosí Valley we went up a very cool river until we reached the “Poza Las Gradas”. After walking among stones we come across waterfalls and pools of crystalline water submerged in the jungle. So stop making excuses and go take a hike.
